Christian Cardozo

Christian Cardozo has been at ESG, in one form or another, since 2013—as an undergraduate, graduate student, and, now, as a lecturer. He teaches ES.1802 (Multivariable Calculus) and ES.1806 (Linear Algebra), often supplementing his classes with wacky demonstrations that blur the lines between math, physics, and code. Outside of his day-to-day, Christian runs a first-year maker seminar at the Edgerton Center, develops virtual reality visualizations with a team of undergrads, and teaches ES.S10 (Many Interesting Things)—a course he designed to give first-year students a sneak peek of MIT classes without the pressure of being in them. Before returning to teach at MIT, Christian worked in biotech and real estate (the latter of which he still does). He also serves as chair of the ESG Alumni Steering Committee. You can find more of Christian’s creative chaos at christiancardozo.com.
